I fly T-45C's right now. I've got 20 flights left, and them I'm hoping I select FA-18's. I might end up in Harriers though. It's a cool aircraft, I just want an ACM capable platform.

I just got back from working with the Navy. I did carrier quals onboard the Eisenhower. Cat shots blow my mind.

If you work with fuel, were you a "grape" at some point?

There's no words that express the feeling when launching and recovery A/C on a carrier

I started on big decks, now i'm on USS Tarawa LHA1 and work with Harriers it's just awesome to see them VTO on the flight deck then shot forward like a jet.

    Yes i'm a Deck Grape.

So how is it on the other side? Since i'm about a month away from retirement? How long has it been for you? Your right about that missing running year round with the TA. I have it in storage up north until I retire.

I served 6 years (2000-2006) as an ET and got out. Now I'm about finished with the process of coming back. Should have my MEPS 'interview' by the end of the month. Dont know why I ever got out. hehe...
