    Default Beyond confused

Fired up my 383 Monday and it idles bouncing between 800-1500. Check engine light is on, all sensors except the map have been replaced. Opti has also been replaced along with the fuel pump. Any time throttle is applied I can hear the intake sucking in air and the car will die. No throttle response no increase in rpm just flat out stall under any throttle at all. Almost ready to wash my hands with it at this point.

Are you using factory elbow? If so make sure your not sucking air around the silencer hole on bottom.

I'm running an LS lid setup but I've checked for all possible vacuum leaks

Depends if the tune in the replacement PCM is close to the 236/242 cam.

What were you using to scan it?

Scan94/95 on my laptop. Turns out the laptop I was using was incompatible with the cable software. Dug out my old one and it connects with no issues. Check engine light is on but no code is being thrown which is odd. It's pulling very little vacuum so hopefully I found my trouble I'm taking the intake off right now. I'll double back in a bit.

A malfunction of the SES light should set DTC 11.

I was wrong about the intake, everything is sealed. There are absolutely no vacuum leaks. And turns out my cable is bad that's why it's not showing me codes. I'm at a complete loss right now. Attached a video, it's holding idle at 1500 and every time I give it throttle it just starts to die. Really don't know what else to do at this point. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/625a2e16...1183806348.mp4
