progress on this car or any car for that matter has been slow due to life in general. this year has been crazy. we ended up getting back into mountain biking heavy and spent what little free time doing that, as i just didnt have any motivation to do anything so i wanted to do something active that the kids could be part of (and be a little more interested in).

well, i ended up hurting L4-L5 in my back doing of all things, yard work, not riding HAH. Since i cant ride and have to take it easy for a bit, focus has moved back to the bird.

spent some time tonight mocking up intake from used parts collected over the years (filter is actually from the fiesta intake kit), fixing wiring issues and being the ziptie king. Need to get some heater hose tomorrow, wire ewp, put y pipe on, and bring it outside to bleed coolant.

if all goes right i hope to be roasting em in the driveway tomorrow, then pull it back in and start tearing the rear suspension/axle out.

summit ewp still works, got that wired up to the air pump relay today. buttoned up cooling system and began bleed process. cut off og exhaust. i want to get it outside to finish bleeding and get it up to temp, also need to pull tune and revise.

old gas smells lovely with open headers in a small garage

dewalt 18v impact said i dont have to cut the swaybar links. so the og 2.73 is out of the car. also installed the energy poly trans mount and the fleabay header y pipe, which surprisingly fit really good (ie better than the headers).

got the 3.42 truetrac rear back together. new flex lines, hardlines, fittings, wheel studs, and fresh fluid.

    will start installing tomorrow

also removed the leaky power steering return from rack line. gotta wait till that comes in to start car again. and my original balancer has a ridiculous wobble so i need a new pulley assembly.

rear is in. have to button up panhard adjustment, torque arm adjustment, and possibly drop the lca's to the lowest hole on the relocation brackets. i did the hose mod to the stock rear springs and the lca appears just barely level, possibly pitched up.

then decide if im doing abs delete/linelock in short term or just bleeding and letting er rip
