Which 4L60e do I have?
I've read a couple of Darrenmb threads here on his Jag conversion and the interchange threads, but I don't find the answer to my exact question.
I have a 1995 LT1/4l60e from a 9c1 Caprice. I am looking ahead to when I will be ready to have the trans overhauled, but the info I've been able to find is not adding up. There is every indication and no reason to question that the engine/trans are a matched set and from the serial number on the trans it seems to be a 1995. However, the pump housing does not have PWM cast into it, but the electrical connector does have 13 pins, not 11. I got the original PCM and harness which I plan to use. I'm beginning to feel there might be an issue developing here. Here's a couple of pics.20200421_160354.jpg20200421_160450.jpg
Can anyone help me sort this out?

The 4L60E in a 1995 is a stand alone year, meaning it will only work in a 1995.
PWM did not start until 1996.

How did you confirm that all of it came from a 95?

The donor car was not available so the two main pieces of info I had was the serial# on the trans and the fact that the Opti Spark was vented. I believe somewhere I might have read that the harness connection on the trans was correct on the right side and the connector should have 13 pins for a '95. This is pretty slim pickin's, but it's all I've got.
What's your take?
Dave

Can you take a pic from both sides of the outside of the trans, including the bell and tail?
