Thread: Canton Oil Pan

    Default Canton Oil Pan

Does anyone know how much oil is left when the low oil sender is triggered on a 7qt canton?

I can't answer the question, but if you're close to oil change time maybe you could test the float switch while adding a qt. of oil at a time to see when it triggers.
I have looked at the Canton pan before as a nice addition to mine but haven't done it yet. Looks to be a high quality part.

For future reference, a canton LT1 pan will hold roughly 3.5qt of oil before low oil light comes on.

And to finally close this thread, the pan will hold 6.25 qts prior to hitting windage tray.
