Harness Question
Anyone know what these harnesses are for? They are on the passenger side front near the alternator. Also, the 3rd picture, anyone have a diagram of this coolant hose? Mines rusted alittle.

Anyone ever replace the steam pipe with AN fittings and braided lines with the motor still in the car?
Thanks for the replies

It would be just as bad as installing the factory steam line IMO. But, if you are a purist, the AN fittings are not correct as factory is straight thread not taper.

I struggled with the double washer shens that GM dreamed up for that.

I did a head job on mine in the car and had alot of trouble breaking loose the banjo bolts. I thought they were gonna snap. When I put it back together with new bolts and washer gaskets I was generous with never-seize. Also I'm pretty sure the threads are the same as (1/4" NPT) but they are straight not tapered. I came real close to converting it to pipe fittings and braided hose but then located new Ac Delco bolts and washer gaskets. Just general info FWIW
