Nitto Nt05r 315/40r18. Anyone running these on a 4th gen. How do they fit, will a 18x10.5 wheel with a 56. offset and 7.95 back space fit or will I need spacers. Got a smoking deal ( $438 ) on a pair and had to jump on it

You are on the ragged edge with that backspace. I ran an 11” wide wheel with 7.93” backspace, with a 315/35-17 25.6” diameter drag radial. Had to hammer the inner fenders a bit, had to cut the projecting edges off the stock jounce bumper brackets (would catch inside of rim when jacking), check the side-to-side centering over the rear axle with an adjustable Panhard rod.

And that ¡s with a 25.6” tire, while your using a 28” tire. That's going to poke up higher into the fender well. With 28” QTP DOT’s, on 7.50 BS Pro-Stars, I've had to recenter the axle front-to-back with adjustable LCA's to keep the tire tread from contacting the leading edge of the quarter panel wheel opening. With 28” ET Drags they grew so much at 130 MPH I had to cut about 1” off the leading edge of the flexible bumper cover, and cut back the metal point on the quarter panel just inside the bumper cover. But both the 28’s were bias ply, and they tend to grow more at high MPH than radials do.

I'm running 18x10.5 welds with 50mm offset on all 4 corners of my car, i am thinking you'll need spacers to make that 56mm offset work.

this is where mine sit, tire is a 295/35 nitto NT05

I run 315/35-17 Toyo R888's all around for auto-x. I did the same as Injuneer - ground bump stops, hammered inner fenders, adjustable panhard.

My car is not lowered. I have 255/50/16 toyo proxes tq drag radials on it now and I have 3-4 inches between the top of the tire and the wheel lip of the quarter I also have about 2 1/2 inches between the back side of the tire and the inner wheel well. The new tires are 2 inches taller and wider, I will just have to wait till next month when I get the wheels to see how they fit.
