I'm really sorry to hear this and what an absolute tragedy. I've have nothing but positive dealings with Frank and Gail, both. What a huge loss for many people on so many levels. R.I.P. Frank.

To everyone here in our LTX family, I thank you for such beautiful words and condolences.

I will do my best to find the words.

Frank was one of a kind. A heart of gold. Always the first to offer his advice and guidance to anyone who needed it, even if it was about someone else's build.
And not just about transmissions, but also about cars and automotive history, as well. I would often ask him "where did you pull that bit of information from?",
and always ceasing to amaze me with his knowledge on a multitude of topics.

As many do not know I have been taking the helm of CPT for the last couple of years, working with him to ensure that his legacy will be carried on.
Rest assured that CPT is alive and well and the staff and I will continue to offer 'Frank-Quality' work, with his expertise as our guide.

While the last couple of days have been emotional and hectic, we will be back on track next week to take calls and messages and restart the shop.
I made a promise to Frank that I would not let the car community down and that CPT would be back better than ever.
I hope you will continue to support us and that I can make Frank proud.

Thank you, again for your wonderful comments. It is truly a huge loss for us all.

I first heard of Frank many years ago. Possibly close to 10 years ago. CPT was getting some recognition on "the other" Tech site and I was following some of his customers' track progression and even interviewed a couple, asking their opinions. It didn't take long to know who was building my trans.

Frank was overwhelming with knowledge of the transmissions he built, specifically the 60e. When it came time to fund a build for my T/A, Frank was SUPER helpful and asked me questions about my setup even I had a hard time answering. Frank also built the trans in my father's 2000 Silverado and when I screwed up installing the converter without enough shims, Frank was there to replace the hard parts I mangled at cost and educated me (again) on proper installation. No questions asked. Hell, he even extended the warranty on my T/A when he found out my car wasn't mobile after a year of him building it. This business ethic and moral doesn't exist in this industry.

He was absolutely ruthless on the forums when it came to setting the record straight on a certain topic, whether it was politics or some kind of part within a 4L60E that I can't even begin to comprehend.

The man is a legend and will be missed in this circle and many others. RIP @Cahall

My thoughts are with you Gail and the rest of Frank's close family and friends.
