Default Moe!!! Have you seen the NA power that can be had out of your FI spec camshaft?

That title is click bait certainly. But I was wide-eye surprised after the 1st pull on the engine dyno.
A recent engine customer had me build a forced induction LT1-396 (low compression and heavy sturdy rotating assembly).

The engine top end consist of my very last set of Advanced Induction TFS heads and a Moe Bailey spec camshaft.
Here is the dyno graph, (created by hand)
    http://www.ellweinengines.com/ERE88/dynoGraph.jpg

    529 hp @ 6000 rpm, 493 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm

    Engine build web page: http://www.ellweinengines.com/ERE88/ERE88.htm

Thanks Moe, for being another good source of camshafts along with Lloyd Elliott.

I still hold firm to this. The Gen II LT stuff LOVES wide intake to exhaust duration splits. That's a solidly big cam but those are really solid numbers being shown also and it's probably pretty doggone streetable in the 396.

    Good numbers being low compression...
