Hello from NY
Just picked up a 96 SS convertible. Great car and my second LT1 powered Camaro. I also own a 2002 WS6 that now has to go because the wife said so heh. Anyway I have owned many many fbodies and my background is calibration work for GM, Dodge and Ford. I have worked for a few companies, both user companies and one of the big tuner manufacturers as well. I managed to snag a jet dst system off Ebay so this thing will be "corrected" by tomorrow.
Anyway look forward to sharing knowledge and gaining some. Gotta start looking for a TOTL exhaust and an airbox if I can find one....which I am realizing is a pipe dream.

Hmm.. wish it were a T56. I have a whole donor 93 Z28 (Forged 355 bottom end, upgraded T56, partial turbo kit, Mcleod Twin Disk and then some, around $20K invested) if you want to trade plus some cash on my end. We can get into actual details if you're actually interested. I've had the thing in storage for 8ish years, chassis in my eyes is junk but yea.
Biggest issue would be I'm in FL and you're in NY.

Normally I would consider it Ryan but she has to be sold. Just bought a house so the wife wants the money to dump into that. FYI I shipped a car to florida once for like $600 via an enclosed trailer.

Fair enough. Figured I'd toss it out there since I know there is easily still $10K worth of parts value on my Z28 but I don't have the time to really part the thing out. I can't pick up another car til I do something with the Z.

Welcome to the forum man! The traffic here has slowed down, but it still exists, and is much more reliable and knowledgeable than so much of the bad info on facebook pages.
Happy to have u here and looking fwd to seeing some pics of the rides.

Hey, I'm kinda a post whore, lol... and its eben more of a pleasure to have u here Brother!
Also, that's one thing about the lt1 pcm/ecus... they brick really easy. When we do any tuning on my old car, all accessories are off and a battery pack is on the battery to keep voltage a lil more stable. Dont even touch the brake peddle... we bricked a computer once when we hit the peddle and the brake lights lit up...
