New member from Ontario

Hello all, new here from Hamilton, Ontario.

Formerly owned a 94 Z28 and 97 SS, but have been out of f-body game for about 15 years. Wish I still had the 2otl both those cars ran, but I’m back in a 96 Z28, A4 even though I swore next one would be M6, practical reasons overruled. Spent a fair bit of time at autocross, drag and lapping days in the previous cars, and hope to get back into it soon.
So my new Z28 is fairly stock save a K&N FIPK and unknown muffler with cannon tips. Saving the track for end of the season in case something breaks.
Early mod plans are fairly light, trans cooler, TB coolant bypass and airfoil (only cause I found it in my bin of parts from the old cars), OBD1 conversion (found the cable in parts bin too!), Koni’s and C5Z wheels (leaning towards square 17x9.5). Maybe over the winter do single cat midlength header conversion and full catback, maybe some more suspension.
Mostly now doing some reading to determine what still works and what doesn’t, trying to remember to look at post dates and looking for used parts. Oh yeah, and finally enjoying being back in rwd V8 😁
