Default First 11 for my LT1!

Needed a better track than I normally run on. I pulled ballast and removed my launch chip to get the car out of the hole better and hit 11.91 on my first run. Backed it up with another run later in the day and tried a slightly higher shift point but didn’t help (6200 vs. 6000). I can’t post pics for some reason. Here is a link of the slips:

    60- 1.521
    330- 4.719
    660- 7.440
    MPH- 89.72
    1000- 9.837
    1320- 11.911
    MPH- 107.30

I have a spragless converter that is likely hurting the back-half numbers and trapping around 6400 or so and out of steam. Just a bracket car with old, high mile engine. Car has a powerglide, 9” w/ 4.71’s, 8” converter 4500 stall, suspension, EWP, etc... Engine has a carburetor, but stock longblock outside of rocker arms and LT4 valve springs. Probably has 180k on engine. Headgaskets blew long ago (~160k) and got stock replacements.

Thanks! Surprised how quick these stock, bolt-on engines can go. There is certainly more that can be done too. Pics are sideways, oops!
