    Default Torque arm question

Has anybody ever welded some flat stock to the factory torque arm to help increase rigidity ... this is going to be a temporary fix until I get a tubular adjustable unit. It's so I can get the car back on the road sooner.

I've heard about people boxing the lower control arms and panhard Bar but I can't recall anybody talking about boxing the factory torque arm has it ever been done?
