Bigger isn't always better with an intercooler. Theres plenty of articles and post on other forums that support this but a 31x12x3 can support more than enough for a normal turbo setup.

Seen on the other site guys making 1000+ on the 4" core. No preference here...We have a On3 on a Turbo Cobra, Mishimoto on a Turbo 3800 Monte, and I'll prob be going with the VS racing unit on my next project.

I had the Bobb EPP OBX 31x12x4 intercooler and that banged out 700+ no problem but I will say ebay intercoolers are hit and miss. Seems more hit than miss for most though. After research and talking to Treadstone, Bell and Garrett I went with a ProCharger intercooler supporting 1300hp, 27.5x12x4.5 with 3.5" inlet and outlets. Vertical bar and plating with a Garrett core. Not a direct bolt on but nothing truly ever is. However, ProCharger sells a direct LS fbody bolt on w/ brackets from Brute speed but if you're not prepared to drop the coinage on it then go ebay for sure or Treadstone as they're lower tier but still pretty good from what I hear.

I've got the MWC IC support bar as well but I'm waiting to get my IC hopefully this week. I've got a little over 2K in my IC setup, yeah it's ridiculous but I tend to do ridiculous things. LOL

As long as the IC flows well, bigger is always better. But with any IC, once you soak it, its not doing anything. Bigger just gives you more time till that happens.

I run a 4 inch core, forget the brand but it was a few steps above the ebay variants.
