    Default 580hp 502tq 397ci LT1 on engine dyno (8.5:1)

The heaviest rotating assembly I have ever put together surprised me on the engine dyno when it pulled solid HP and torque numbers, (580/502).
Note that I've only had a few motors on the engine dyno. This is the flattest torque curve I have seen for an LT1. Big, thick, heavy, sturdy pistons may actually do what Diamond claims, (make more power than short skirt pistons). Well I don't know but it's fun to investigate. I'm sure the heads and cam are 90% of this story.
+.700" lift mechanical roller cam from Ai, (for F1R blower motor). 21* TFS heads by Ai (with inconel exhaust valves). 3/8" pushrods and SS Crower shaft rockers keep it firm.
I have a new customer that is going to do close to this same head-cam combo but for an all natural application. I hope to show 600 dyno hp in a few months from that motor. It will be very interesting to see what more compression and less rotating mass will do.

Great build. I am looking forward to seeing what this will do with boost. What is the anticipated redline for this motor? Is there a reason the 21 degree heads were selected versus the bigger units on the market?

This is going to be a monster with the blower!!

How much power do you expect it to make with the F1R?

Red line: 6500rpm . I told Anders the owner that 6000 rpm would be a good shift point and to keep her under 6500rpm for longevity. Brian, for the 21* ? I don't know. Ai was told the application and they picked the 21* TFS. Maybe the motor would do better with bigger heads seeing it is a big boost FI motor. Anders just wants to get his car down the track quicker than his buddy, (my other Swedish customer). So if he can sort out his car combo and tune and keep this motor alive I'll be happy. Those heads are an odd pick for a big boost motor now that you mention it.

Guillamue I think 1000 hp with the blower. He had already made that much in the previous combo with AFR heads and JE/SRP pistons.
