    Default 396 LT1 NA dyno results

    So after all the blood sweat and tears, the car finally made some decent numbers.

    480rwhp is pretty solid what's the setup? Hydraulic roller or solid? Heads?

    I first built the short block with the intentions of adding boost. Buuut life happens, you start popping out kids and the cash just isn’t there anymore. So you do what you can do, within the budget, to get decent compression and just go from there. Not to mention, pump gas is horrific out here in Cali. But even with compression on the lower end of the NA scale, I still think the motor performs very well. I can add plenty of timing without knocking.

    Are those out of the box Afr 210s? If so race ready or competition port?

    They’re actually the older model AFR 1057s. But they’ve had light port work.

    With that compression those are real good numbers!
    93 Z28, 383, PI 3200, Strange 12 bolt, 3.73, Strange coilovers, suspension, and going 24X... for three years or so.
