Default Garrett intercooler and T56 Magnum upgrades

It's time I get rid of the old Cxracing intercooler in exchange for the best there is. I want to to do a comparison in what gains it will pick up. I will change the outlet side pipe to throttle body to 4 inch now, but, leave 3 inch for inlet side just for now until I get the F1-X blower for it little later then I will run all 4 inch pipe. Should be interesting.

4 inch vs 3 inch I had bored out the 3 inch before as well.
    Left. I.D.= 3.858
    Right I.D.= 2.836

Here you can see the big difference in density as well in how the bars compare. Almost double the size.
    Garrett bar. = .448
    Cxracing bar = .295
    Screenshot_20171125-135253.png
    Garrett core. = 27 1/4 X 12 3/4 X 5 1/8
    Cxracing core = 23 1/4 X 11 3/4 X 4

This cooler should be a beast!

Had to make some pie cuts for the 4 inch pipe. It was a tight fit because the bumper but it worked out. Fitting the intercooler was a very tight fit as well but it also worked out. I'm still running A/C condenser so for all of it to fit I'm very pleased.

Decided to upgrade to the bigger Pro Race bypass valve. It's almost twice the size so it should be good once I turn things up.

    T56 Magnum 1st 2:66 5th .80 6th.63 gears. Converting to a push style clutch

Scatter shield serves as multi purpose. Gives the proper amount of spacing to use the new clutch.

Had this triple disc 168 tooth flywheel custom made for me. I don't think clutch slip will be an issue for me anymore. A very nice piece.

Decided to swap to a mono throttle body while making all the new changes. Just a few more things to do before it is all ready. And then hopefully it will be ready to make some big power.

It's been a few months now. I'm ready to just drive it again lol.

Just because it's based around an LS design. Using LS7 pressure plate with the triple discs. Plus it will be easier on the starter when cranking.

Checking clearance for pilot bushing. I didn't and can't use the extended pilot bushing.

    FB_IMG_1525585528177.jpg
Needed to cut some to make clearance for slave lines.

Two shims got me at .118 clearance.

So waiting on BMR cross tunnel torque arm relocation setup to come in. Which will be nice because I won't need to change my exhaust after all. Still need to measure to get a custom built driveshaft. And need to address the shifter, which shouldn't be a problem. Won't be long now.
