Waiting and the uncertainty of when you will be able to return would be difficult with emotions all over the place. You made it to the difficult part of this is just part of getting back into life and swing of things it's great to see that's your on the downhill slide of taking care of the cancer. Getting back to life as you new it in the near future.

Well, everytime I have good news I end up jinxing myself, but here goes...

Went and followed up with the surgeon today. The big hole in my gut is all healed up, minus a lil scab.

Dr also cleared me to lift again and return to the gym...

Still need to experiement with meds to adjust how my modified insides work... but we are working on it for now.

Still out of work till the 13th, assuming Im all set by then.

Finally... the 4th is my follow up with retinal specialist... hopefully he can do his magic and make it dialate again...

Now, to see how the good news bites me in the ass.

Man you can’t get a break. We are all still behind you and praying that you get thru all of this real soon. Has to be exhausting, mentally and physically. I can’t even begin to imagine. Your body has been thru a lot, I know everyone keeps telling you to remain positive and it’s hard after so many set backs. But we all know you are strong and you won’t let any of this beat you. Keep fighting and kick all of this shit to the curb. We are all pulling for you to become victorious in this long battle!!! You can do it!!!

Well, worried Im gonna be released to work and Im gonna be a weak ass pussy, I pushed myself to get to the gym for about an hour.

Did 20 minutes on the bike then did a light chest and triceps workout...

Felt good and disheartening at the same time... good because its a part of me I had lost for a while, but disheartened because I am so damn weak. I was lucky to move a third of the weight I used too and it was a struggle and PAINFUL.

    But progress none the less...

Good job on getting back to the gym but you know to take it slow. You'll eventually get back to where you were, it just takes a little time. Keep it up Popo.
