Hey Man, I just ordered a Hooker Blackheart system for my '97 camaro with LT1 and Hooker competition long tube headers. I was curious about how well the head pipes on the hooker exhaust lined up with your headers. I've waited to order the collector extension reducers until I see if I'm gonna need to offset the pipes or if its gonna line up straight. I'm hoping I can tie it in without any welding. Got any photos of your collector tie in? Did the hooker pipes line up center to center with your headers?
    Thanks for any comments.

Nothing lined up perfectly, I had to cut and weld a bit. I used the header extensions that came with my y-pipe for Kooks headers.

Hey Man thanks for the feedback, I got mine today and mocked it up on my shop floor. Looks like the header center to center is near 5 " off, but I think I can fix it with slices and clamps wth no welding. This is a tie in to hooker headers on an LT1. Don't khow why they would not make a Hooker tail to tie in to Hooker headers on an LT1 but I supppose I've got a bad ass dinosaur. At least thats what people say. I'll race LS1 guys anytime. Might get beat but not by much. LOL. I'm wound up just having a true dual system that fits. The single into twins is just too raspy and obnoxious loud. I'll try to get photos for someone trying to do an LT1 setup. Thanks for the sound check videos.

I agree, it seems like it would be easy for them to offer this option to match their own headers on the LT1. I asked them and they said they have no plans to do so.
