@Ltconvert found a deal on a g-body. made me do the legwork. went and looked at it. looks rust free. 88 cutty supreme. bone stock. the owner stated trans has a small leak, runs good etc. got it for $800. damn near blew the engine on way home, trans is toast.
plans are budget gbody shuffle with some spray. stock crank forged rod forged flat top 355 with a 150shot on a plate. have a painless stand alone lt1 harness. Cahall pro race trans with billet output shaft and pro torque stall are the plans for the drivetrain. factory 4th gen ss wheels with 275 front/275 rear drag radials. umi suspension. paint is staying factory faded/peeling

Supporting Memberolds 307 almost ready to come out. motor mount bolts and find a spot to hook the chain to back of head. olds wasn't nice and didn't give us a picking point in the back. gotta remove crossmember, disconnect trans lines and shifter cable, and she will be out. so far no rust underneath this car, not even the spare tire well where I'm told all gbodies rot. for $800 I think it was worth it
