Id rather not grenade it myself lol, me tuning it is for sure 100% chance of destruction. I'll let a proven tuner do it for me. I guess leave it to the professionals as they say. More power to the people who dive in and are successful, I got mad respect for y'all.

Fun stuff coming soon. Also, Cali smog regulations suck...period. **Insert witty quote here** LT1FTW that is all. Have a nice day.

I used to think the same way, but after dissecting several mail order tunes I was unhappy with I decided to give it a shot. It takes some getting used to but tuning is definitely not as hard as it seems. I'm pretty satisfied.
However, when the blower goes on my car I'll refrain from tuning with the exception of small tweaks.

I wonder if they did anything to the car to make it more competitive in the 1/8 since their 8.03x 1/4 run. Car is faster down the 1/8 than before.

Using NHRA conversion factors, the results in the first post convert to 7.76 @ 181 MPH. No question that's a 7-second capable car.

His first pass off the trailer at the shootout was a hair shy of a 7 sec pass. He said it was not "turned up" cause it was still the first run of the day.
Its amazing... just imagine if he stripped the interior down for some weight saving.

yes the car makes well north of 1200whp...I have lots of pics of the car saved on my PC....his 8.03 pass at the shootout was on 14#....there were no changes to the car other than an increase of boost for the 4.99 pass and the 5.03
1994 Formula, 396cid, AFR 227's, Single plane, and 2 of the big ones.
