Wasn't hard at all. The XS Power guy never responded to Paypal with return instructions so I got to keep the wrong Y they sent me and got my money back.

I dealt with both. I originally bought the headers from Carl at LPP without the Y because I intended on fabbing my own two 3" to one 4" Y (still do... will get to that eventually). I noticed a pretty big defect in the flange around one of the primaries that I thought was going to cause a leak so I emailed him and got no response. A little later I decided on buying one of their Y pipes separately to throw the car together and get it on the road with a generic 3" catback, messed up header flange or not. I email him again a few times saying I was interested in buying just Y separately asap and also got no response.
I thought I was being ignored so I want directly to the manufacturer (XS Power) and order a Y pipe from them. Instead of sending me the right part, they drop shipped a Pacesetter style ebay Y to my house and then argued with me for two weeks about how it was the right part depsite not even coming close to fitting. The XS Power guy eventually stopped responding so I opened a Paypal claim (that he also didn't respond to) and was refunded.
I know there were a couple other guys on FB and ls1tech that got screwed by either company. AFAIK they're drop shipping 304 stainless Speed Engineering Y pipes with their headers now instead of the proper 321 Kooks style.

I really had more respect for these outfits. Seem like they make their money and then lose interest.
