Dedicated fuel system issue
I been having trouble with the dedicated fuel system I have set up. It's a 1 gallon cell located where the washer fluid used to go. I have a line coming from bottom of the tank to the pump out the pump to the Holley 803 regulator and from there to the solenoid my issue is it doesn't build pressure when I turn the pump on. It doesn't have a return line but I didn't think that regulator needed a return. The pump pumps strong when I disconnect lines idk what to try next. Sometimes if I turn it on and off a few times it'll build about 2 pounds of pressure

It looks like that regulator is only rated for 4.5-9 psi. How much pressure are you needing?

^ That'll definitely do it, especially on a smaller volume tank

I believe this pump is jegs brand equivalent to the Holley black pump. I just got it to replace a different one to try it as a fix. The line comes from the bottom of the tank. The pump is a little higher than the fuel but it should be able to draw it

How much higher is the pump above the tank?
