I have Howards caps. I think the part number is H350S, cheapest at Competition Products. These make fitting the dipstick a pain in the ass because they are 10 degree splayed.
Honestly don't think it matters that much as long as they're billet steel caps. Anything is better than factory iron.
If you use milodon studs then you don't have to worry about bending the tray. I have ARPs and had to mangle mine bc they're short.

Ain't nothing wrong with a 2618 piston, may rattle a lil when cold but you want a 300 shot motor...
Correlation does not imply causation.

The cat will see minimal street time. Maybe some car meets but I am looking at mostly strip car.

I have a set of BME 2618-T61 nitrous pistons, and have never experienced rattling any worse than the stock LT1 piston slap.
Setup is ProGram splayed 4-bolt conversion, Callies Stealth 3.75" crank, Oliver billet 5.85" rods.
At the point in my life where I would entertain offers on the complete carSOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

Slap has a lot to do with the piston skirt. I would be less concerned with slapping and more with the pistons becoming a wear item with regular street miles.
