Default Aftermarket second gen LTX block.

I have been planing a build and during my research it appears that the stock GM LTX block detortes around 1,000HP. I'm looking to see if there is an aftermarket block at will handle 1,000HP or without distortion and retain the second generation LTX Block characteristics?

No available aftermarket options at the moment. There are a few places that guys are trying to get to cast some but who knows if it will ever happen.
The factory block can handle a good amount of power actually. Just today a guy posted an 8.1 second 1/4 mile slip and that setup makes 1200 hp. Same guy that built Stefans car (which ran a 4.8 1/8 mile). I know tony shepherd has made 4 digit numbers as well. These are all rear wheel numbers so crank hp is probably in the 1400-1500 range. Splayed mains, half fill, and a good machine shop can get you fixed up with something that will meet your goals

Ellwein has built a few in that territory, half fill seems to be the way to go. He said he has seen bore distortion in all of them, but not enough to affect ring sealing abilities

George Baxter made 1,125 flywheel HP with a 4-bolt main Corvette block, straight cap bolts, no fill. After he decided to move up to a Gen 1 aftermarket block, he sold his LT1 block to a member here. The block was closely examined by Second Street Speed, who built Baxter's engine and determined to be in excellent shape. Cliff then proceeded to build a high HP nitrous motor using the block, but I don't know the history beyond that decision.
