The issue with distribution on a stock intake is when using a plate nitrous kit. No problem with boost

Hey Tubby!! Cool, really liked the whipple setup on the car... I did a d1sc front mount kit that's out there too..

Yes I was 24x when I did the whipple.. what questions ya got??

The intake that's on the car now started as an edelbrock pro flow SBC intake and I basically made a "Humpback" design to slow the air down as it hits the plenum for even distribution (mainly to the front runners)
The intake plenum is sized well for a CI motor of my size (actually larger) and the runner length is sized correctly on the manifold for my Rpms as well 5.5-6" runner.

Its all in the complete combo also, if your cam, heads compression doesnt warrant a intake like a Vic E then it will possibly produce nothing to only a couple of ponies or even loose some, I tuned a car that had that intake like T/A posted, nasty cam and it made less than 400 RWHP N/A.

I had a stock unported LT1 manifold on the Caprice, running 18-20 psi max. I had distribution issues, the plugs weren't the same color front & back and seemed to get worse as the boost went up.

I switched to a Victor E for the new motor. It needs A LOT of porting to match my AI TFS heads but it's a nice piece. I chose the Victor E because it's low profile and will clear the stock hood on my RX7.
Motor isn't running yet so I can't comment on performance.
