Anyone think I can make this 9.9 goal work with the 26" tires I currently run? They handled the 50 shot off the line no problem but the 150 spun and I am shifting into 4th gear at about 125MPH.

3.90 gear, limiter set to 6700, converter is not great buy i'm locking it and have to use 4th gear. My biggest concern is enough tire to launch off nitrous instead of turning it on at the 60ft.

Guys have one plenty fast on 26s . It can be done no doubt. Suspension settings are going to be key obviously, Maybe you can look into a progressive where you can launch maybe it off the line on a 75 shot and ramp it all in by a half a second or a second. I feel like your 990 goal is completely attainable.

Also your doing good right off the bat. The car is responding well and you've got the tune in the ballpark but you will find little bits of ET here and there by playing with the AFR and timing. You will get your goal just be persistent and don't be afraid to try some new things with the suspension And small tweaks in the tune up.

What Ignition timing do you run at wide open throttle on motor? And how much are you pulling for the 150? What heat range plugs? Straight pump gas or mixed with race gas? Where is the converter flashing ?

For what it's worth my 383 with stock GM heads stock intake 550 lift 230 duration hydraulic cam with a stock ECU on a hundred shot the first quarter mile time went a 10.0 at 130. And the nitrous wasn't on the last few hundred feet. We have got fairly similar combos like I said just keep playing with little things and you will see what the car wants and doesn't want.

Total timing on motor is 35 and I pulled 3 degrees out for nitrous. The plugs (Autolite3924) looked like they were a little hot so I want to drop one range. I also need to try some different tire pressures, those runs were on 21 PSI. I was really just keeping an eye on fuel pressure and AFR on those runs so now I can make timing and fuel adjustments. AFR was on the rich side, in the mid 11's and the plugs showed that as well. I mixed 50/50 pump gas with 100 octane.

Tire pressure depends on The tire, on front driver's and slicks I've gone really low and it helps significantly but you need to watch tire spinning on the rim.
Obviously leaning it out will help.
I would put it on a dyno and see what timing or AFR it likes, it can be done at the track but it's more time consuming and sometimes more costly.

Lastly Lebanon isn't known for its track prep on test and tunes, I've had my best luck when the gates open Sunday before or.after a major event, its stickey and you can hot lap for an hour or so before it gets busy.

I think less tire pressure and more burnout

Yeah, I'm familiar with Lebanon, been going there for the last 8 years.

Nice pass! Did I see it correctly in the first video, looks like your opponent staged on the back tires??
