Supporting Member@Ltconvert has a stock pcm with 2 bar typhoon map. It halves the stock tables. So instead of idling at 60-65 kpa it idles at 30-35 kpa. Works great.

hmmmm.. I'm going to look into this more. If I can do it on a stock pcm I'll have some extra cash for meth. One other thing that was putting me towards the 24x direction is i have a complete 02 ebony interior I want to swap in and thought it might be easier to do both..

man, just spent hrs reading. happy saturday.. I think I'll just re-pin my harness and use a 97 cluster lol. Now to tackle my 2nd indecision, keep it auto and put an 80e in it or rebuild this T56 I have sitting around.. Think it will be a lot of fun with the stick for cruising and stuff, but auto would maximize the butt hurt.

Depends on where you live and what you want to do with it. The terrain in my area can be pretty interesting and there is no shortage of twisty backroads to row gears. If I lived somewhere flatter and closer to a track then the auto would make more sense.
