Is it Worth The Trip???
I am a LT1 guy up in Lincoln NE!! Man I would love to make the trip down to Kentucky to have some fun with a bunch of LT1 guys!
LT1's are few and far between to say the least! Especially when we are talking nice, note worthy cars. I kinda wanna make the trip but i don't wanna get there and be disappointed.
My car is heads / cam and maybe a 150 shot by the time the shootout rolls around.
Just curious what everyone thinks!

Yes. I'm going as a 21 year old from Michigan. Even if my car was bolt ons, I'd still go. This is one of the best communities.
Besides, who doesn't want to see Tony hit 7s this year?

This will be our 6th year there. Drove my built camaro once... my escalade a few times and even the wifes Genesis. Never raced... and still dont plan to race. We go just for the community and wouldnt miss the event.
I even proposed at the awards ceremony a few years ago...
And it was covered by GMHTP...

I'm thinking it's worth the trip even without my Formula. I want to meet the people behind the screen names here at ltxtech. Combine the trip with a visit to the National Corvette Musuem, where I've been a Founding Member for 25 years, but have never visited.
It will be somewhat embarrassing pulling up in my wife's Prius, but 55 MPG will justify driving it . Retirement is a bitch.
Hope to see y'all there.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

And you can make fun of @popo8 in person, what could be better!
I went for the first time last year, car ran crappy but spending the nights in the parking lot with all the guys from the community was worth it. After countless emails, PM's etc with people its really nice to put face and what not to people. If you can swing it, def show up.Correlation does not imply causation.

I went for the first time last year and aside from my back issues, it was a lot of fun. I got to meet folks who I've only spoken with via the forum and hang out with a great group of people.
