Is that Aeromotive FPR rated for E85? Over the years, the Aeromotive LT1 unit has had trouble with regular gasoline, and they claimed it was due to "changes in the composition of pump gas". They still show up with problems, even after all these years. When we paralleled the rails on my setup, we went to a Weldon stand-alone FPR. Feed fuel into the back of both rails, take the single return off a -6AN fitting welded to the stock cross-over pipe, line back to the Weldon FPR mounted under the cowl.

I wasn't aware of that regulator having issues, thanks for The heads up. Will it have problems running E85 for sure or is it just random if it gives? I bought it about 4 or 5 years ago with no problems so far but hate for it to cause a fire for something that can be avoided.
Would it be a benifical running a parallel setup?

The old pistons all took some damage. Looks like detonation.

OBX headers 3.5 collectors stepped 1-7/8 primaries. Wonder how much doing just headers and exhaust would have gained if any.

This us what I'll be changing once I get finished with everything else.

Possible first start later today. Just a mug shot but thought I'd share my progress so far. I'm curious to see how much better the charging system and whole electrical system do this time around. 145 amp Cadillac alternator as opposed to the 105 amp ls1. It fit in quite nicely.

Looking really good. What rings did you go with? Any additional plans to mess with the engine cosmetically?

Nice bay! I really need to do this while mine is out. Is that a standard ATI bracket I see holding your F1R?! And why not just run a 200 amp alt? I've been running one for the better part of 10yrs with no problem. Tuff Stuff performance makes them.

I agree. Nice engine bay. You had everything painted and done correctly.

Total Seal rings. I got them through Diamond. I still have to prep and paint the blower piping, paint the LT1 engine covers, undecided if I want to paint the valve covers, don't like how aluminum don't stay looking clean for long. I have a gen V Camaro engine cover that I can switch on and off if I like so gotta paint that too, going to make a pcm cover, and then add some LED lighting to engine bay so it turns on when I open the hood. Will serve as two purpose a work lighting and just to be cool.

thanks.yes just a standard bracket with additional two built brackets that I fabbed up. I heard of supposedly lots of bad experience about aftermarket but I might try one out in the future.20160421_224147.jpg20160421_225519.jpg20160421_225526.jpg20160421_225532.jpg20160421_231752.jpg
I'm going to redo this top bracket with some thicker plate steel. The blower has almost no flex compared to how Procharger stock bracket is. It made a world of a difference from how it is originally.

Still don't have it where I'm happy with it just yet, but figured I'd share an engine shot of work in progress. I'm not ready to show off the rest of the bird quite yet for final unveiling. But very soon now. No more stupid blower piping blowing off anymore, I hated that. I Built tabs so I can bolt on the pipe in place. I think I'm more thrilled about that than the rest if everything else lol. I keep finding new stuff here and there that I want so it's taking me longer than I had wanted to take on this build, but oh well. I'll probably order me 09+ CTSV front/rear brake setup here shortly and ditch my Zo6 brakes for another build.
