The gears are hurting you. Plus small cam and heads your probably 370 to 380 wheel. Nothing to be ashamed of. The 5.0s run good. Throw some 4.10s in and try it again.

Trust me when I say the 3.23 gearing is KILLING you. I had my purple 93, with a 94 T56 swap, so it had a factory 3.23 rear in it. Hotcam, lightly ported heads, made 345 RWHP 360 RWTQ. THE BEST time I could pull out was a 12.998 @ 107.98 MPH. It was just a turd down low and up top didn't have the steam to keep going.
As said before also, those Coyote 5.0's are GREAT runners. They're quickly becoming Fords "LS" motor.
