it's not 150lbs, i think MWC said they took 80lbs off theirs and they went to the extreme with the trimming.

the panel itself it only 13lbs lighter, the rest was extra stuff they cut out while it was apart.

Or buy the one and have the other duplicated in mirror image. It is a little more involved than tacking it in though. Not a big deal. I usually do the hardtop to t top conversions. I have write ups online and used to co own a bodyshop. I got rid of all the cut outs I have done over the years. Even those would have required fab work to fit. You may be over thinking getting rid of them. I have a single digit car with tops still in place. No issues with cage and sfc's.
