Default 6AN braided Line to Fuel Line tubing. Nasty leak...

Making some progress on the fuel pump thing... energized the 12v prime wire and the pump came right up.

But underneath, where the braided hose connects to the tubing, the return line fit on very loose and leaks like a siv (i know its spelled wrong) ... the bevel on that line seems shallow and the 6An fitting just slid on. Anyone know the best way to handle this?

Is the fitting loose on the hard line?

In the mean time... I pulled the fuel pump just to be sure that I had not kinked a line... Which now that I think of it seems dumb... But that's what I did. And in the process several rubber washers fell out of those lines... So I'm good and fried and seriously thinking about just ordering more braided line and just running it all the way back. What do you think DD?

OK... FTR: The problem is Operator Error.

As I said, this is my first AN mod... and I ended up buying the same size 6 AN Fuel Rail adapters. (I told Summit tech that the two lines were different sizes, but they assured me that the fittings they were sending were the right size. They sent the 6AN 3/8ths, which is correct for the Fuel line, but too large for the 5/16th return line.)

Tip of the Hat to Puck for that info.

I appreciate the input fellas... I figure this is bound to come up again, so Pass it on!
