Default $3 pulley press on tool

Alright guys I don't know if this as been posted by someone yet or not but here goes! So I needed to press on my power steering pulley since it was wobbling and my local tool store wanted $36 for the too to press it on! Mind you that all that is is a screw with a piece of metal molded on to press it on (if you didn't know). So I said screw that! (No pun indented) And came up with this idea . I went to lowes and picked up a set of 3/8-16 hex bolts $1.68 (you can just get one bolt to save on some money but I got 3 incase I lost one), x3 3/8 washers $1.17, and x1 3/8 nut $0.32, total = $3.17 depending on location! Now that's a $33 saving!!! 20150825_222300.jpg this is the bag I got with the size description on it. 20150825_222337.jpg this is the 3/8-16 bolt with the 3/8 nut and 3/8 x3 washers on it and around where you want everything when you go to press the pulley on. 20150825_222408.jpg and this is just a size reference. 20150825_222714.jpg now here I circled around where the bolt with nut and washers is going to be screwed in. One you screw in about a inch into the pulley your gonna want to tighten the nut with a wrench (sorry I don't remember what size wrench I used) and you will tighten the nut until your pulley is fully pressed on. Obviously allow the bolt to go in further in the pulley wasn't already half way pressed on like mine. It's not rocket science lol. Well I hope this helps someone who is in need of a cheap way to press on a pulley! A word of caution is the washers might start to bend under the pressure. But at .32 a pop just get alot of them.
