Thread: blower cam?

  1. #1

    Default blower cam?

What is a good cam for a lt1 with a vortech supercharger and stock compression and a 3000 stall convertor . I have an lt4 hot cam that I got before I decided to get the supercharger.

I would go custom spec'd from LE or the likes. May want to consider dropping the compression a bit.

The Hotcam would make an alight blower cam. It has a 10 degree duration split favoring exhaust and barely any overlap. I would stick with that honestly. Your engine will be on borrowed time with boost and a more mild cam may help it live longer. Also, you can also get away with a cheaper valvetrain.
