    Default Gauging Interest - 1993 Camaro "Ultra-Z"

Don't need to sell, but feel no obligation to keep car anymore as my long time friend and previous owner has decided he does not have time for me anymore.
These cars in this condition are hard to find and I have priced it acordingly - $10,000 obo (will make better deal for LTXtech member) Car is in Delaware

    LS1 front spindles and brakes
EBC cross drilled and slotted rotors all around with red stuff pads
    Sequential tail lights
HID headlight conversions in OEM housings
    T-top conversion
    limo tint back glass
Red and black leather seats with red and black interior conversion (was gray and black cloth)
Pioneer HU with infinity door speakers and sub in stealth box with MTX mono sub amp
6LE gauge cluster in center console with WideBand, Oil and Fuel pressure
ABS delete with line lock (i cant remember where i bought the kit)
    Cruise control delete (was broken)
Fog Light delete with OEM 1LE grills
    Trick Flow rear diff girdle

tons of apperance stuff like wire tuck, custom FRC's, billit rad cover, braided fuel line conversion, fuel gauge under hood (not currently hooked up), Chevy centercaps for the wheels, Ultra Z badging, stripes, too much to list.

Oil was just changed and filter cut open to check for remnants of a broken Proform rocker tip. No metal was found and car has no wierd noises except for a slight ehxaust leak at a header collector (i need to find it and weld it up.)

    the bad:

Paint is as old as car and was overbuffed by previous owner. Solvent pop in hood. 2 very small dings on pass side quarter. the common dimples in the tops of both quarters. Bumper was repaired and one crack has opened up, i have repaired it but a NOS OEM bumper cover will come with the car. the t top conversion was never totally lined up, but car never sees rain and is washed very carfully. 1 t top has scratches in the glass. small cut in the door gasket
    .

Car has ran as fast as 12.8x and dynoed over 340 to the wheels. AC blows cold and heat blows hot. Very good street car. Has win numerous awards and trophies. 2012 was voted best 4th gen at Carlisle GM nats. Motor and trans was pulled several years back and totally refreshed. Rear sounds good and posi works fine.

I have well over 15K into the car (including original purchase price), Hagerty values car @ $16,500. I dont need to sell, but am loosing interest in the car. I need to get it inspected and tagged still. It is a great very low milage 1993 and a great platform for more mods. There is prob more stuff i forgot to list, feel free to ask questions. This car has been a member of our family for 13 years and very well pampered. I may change my mind like @popo8, but i want to see if someone else wants to become the caretaker of this car.

Im confused... So you only had that car because you felt obligated to keep it because of someone else?

I bought the car because I wanted it and he and i were very close. I have kind of kept it partly due to our friendship and partly because I loved the car. Now he has decided to not take the advice I gave him many times upon his request and to get tied up with a woman. She apparently does not understand our friendship and now he is making up lies as to why he will not talk with me or my family. We are still friends with his sister and she is very upset with the situations.

well I dont want to butcher the thread with questions, but thats no reason to unload the car. Friends come and go brotha... dont let it change stuff in your life. I was always under the impression that this car was something you were fond of because of the car itself...

Not butchering, it is good to have this conversation. I really do love the car, but I am really wanting to get back into a full sized 60s chevy.

Tomorrow I attempt to get the camaro tagged. After firing it up and moving the car, I think I am going to keep her for a little while longer.
