Default Jegs window switch / autometer tach w/ shift light issue

Ok guys here's an issue I'm hoping u can help with, when I have my window switch connected my shift light doesn't work right. I ran a wire directly to the coil for tach signal and tapped the window switch and tach both in to this wire. What do you think? Should I try tapping one of them in somewhere else like at the dash cluster or by the ECM ? Do you think there's a backfeed somwhère and I need an inline diode or resistor? This ones got me stumped. Window switch works fine, so does the tach , just the shift light won't light up, if I disconnect the window switch the shift light works perfect, wtf??? Btw it's a jegs window switch and autometer monster tach.Thx guys
