Hawk's t56 short shifter stick
Anybody have one of these? Just bought one off ebay. Looks promising.

I have the one Colorado speed used to sell, got it on closeout. It's better than the stock stick, but the factory shifter still sucks. My MGW is being delivered Monday.

Just looked up the hawk's stick. Looks pretty similar. Definitely a nice improvement for the price. I'm probably gonna order one of their aluminum shift knobs sometime soon.

Yeah I'd love either a Pro 5.0 or an MGW, but this is the only thing I can budget for the time being. Anything has to be better than the stock length shifter.

I hear ya. I got the short stick before I even started my conversion. I looked at the stock stick and decided it just wasn't for me, lol. I don't know how much better it is, but it's definitely no worse than my old 07 cobalt, not that that's really saying much...

I had the WS6 store short stick w/ factory Hurst in my old LS car and really liked it. I have a MGW now.

I should be getting it in the mail tomorrow. I'll post a picture of it after I put it in and let everyone know how it feels. I'm just as excited for the pool ball shift knob too though. lol

shifter.JPG I haven't got to drive the car with it yet, but it feels pretty solid. The only issue I see is that it contacts the console on the 2 and 4 position, but I plan to move the console back just a hair so it wont touch.
