Default 1987 Trans Am PROJECT CAR

I am just putting this out there to see if there is any interest in it. I dont need to sell it, but I dont know if I will ever get back to it. Here is a build thread and the photobucket for the car -

    Body:
We have torn it down all the way and did 95% of the body work. It still needs the Drivers side rear marker light filled. We were going to cut new smaller one in. The body work is decent, some was done by my 16 year old son. It needed a fix in the pass rear quarter, pass toe board, drivers toe board/dead pedal, drivers rear floor corner, and the corners of the t-top area on the front windshield. The firewall has been started to be smoothed. We were planning a VintageAir HVAC system. The main body of the car has been media blasted and sanding has been started. The front pass fender has been fixed, small dent, but needs the bottom flange fixed.

    Suspension/Brakes:
The front suspension has all be POR15 coated.
    set of tokiko lowereing springs
    Jamex STB
    UMI "wonder bar"
1LE front rotors on splndles with abutments for calipers
LS1 rear disk parts to convert drum rear
new OEM front strut top bearings/Mounts
new UMI non daj panhard and lca's

    Wheels/drivetrain
17 inch ROH wheels - no tires
48K mile L98 with 700r4 pulled from 1985 vette complete with all acc and ECM/wiring. Have f-body tail housing for trans
    3.42 posi rear with drums
    B&M ratchet shifter
    SLP shorty headers
    2 3 inch Magnaflow cats

    Interior:
2000 Camaro Dash complete except for piece between dash and windshield(need to make custom anyway)
    2000 Camaro console complete
1993 Camaro gray/black cloth front and rear seats (perfect condition - pulled from my 93)
OEM door panels (need some work)
All OEM parts for rest of interior included
    All parts Black

This is a PROJECT and needs total re-assembly. body is on cart with air tires and moves easily. Cart would go with car. What is needed:
Finish body work - sand, fill, prime paint, etc..
Install drivetrain, convert drum rear with parts
re wire car (OEM harnesses included)
    Carpet
    All weather stripping
    Install interior
Gauges (2000 camaro clust included, but we planned all stand alone gauges)
    will need windshield (cracked)
I would try to find a body bolt kit as alot of them were rusted. Ive seen kits on eBay

Anyone who has ever restored a car knows this seem daunting, but is not impossible. I have the start to a great restomodish 3rd gen here, just needs some time and paitence, and some creativity. I would like to get my money out of the drivetrain and body at least, the other parts im not worried about recouping the cash.

AS IS with all parts I have - $1800 - LTxtech member price
