Well... ill be happy to explain it again... Nice and Simpe... BUDGET FRIENDLY (I have one with all the bells and whistles)... this car is allready a frankenstein of multiple cars so the harness would not be a PLUG and PLAY anything...... NO OPTI... NO COMPUTER (24x and custom harnesses are not BUDGET FRIENDLY.)... just whats been needed and runnin cars since their gasoline powered inception... u say BACKWARDS.... I say TIME PROVEN. U say BACKWARDS... I say then why are u running and LTX... remember LTs are the BOAT ANCHORS... LSX is where its at now... almost seems like am lt swap was also "backwards." Like u said... different strokes for different folks... and if its done in time for 2015... I want u to recognize me...since u wont be able to see the carb from this angle...

Personally.. only under the instruction of friends... swapping power valves amd minor tweaks. I have been around it since I started driving... the car people I hang out with are also all carb guys...so im in no shortage of "education."
Im not sure which way I will go with a carb... gonna really depend on the rest of the build first.

Holley 750 double pumper with mechanical secondaries ftw! It's a throttle body and injectors all in one. Can pick one up used all day long around here for $150 and up depending on what options it's got. A plain Jane sbc dizzy is about $2250 less than a 24x.

depends on what trans, stall (if auto) gear, shift RPM, etc you ahve in mind as well as what springs/rockers/PRs that you are using or willing to buy.Call me when free and we can iron out the details. $300 shipped for a custom cast cam.Lloyd

Hopefully gonna go look at the donor car 2moro... guy is at a good place with price for the entire car...
May just pull the motor..clean it up... get a L.E. cam and drop it in with the carbed intake and carb.
