    Default Project "NS GS"

Project NICE and SIMPLE GRAND SPORT...

Well as many of you have seen...I relisted the car for sale. Not for any other reason than because I wanted to thin the group... and well because its a TPI and not a beloved LTX.

Well after many lowball offers...and after my "serious" buyer backing out there are new plans.

With the help.of a good friend... I plan to have the L98 pulled out... and the engine bay cleaned up.and simplified.

    Its a wiring mess from conjoining multiple cars of different years together;

With that being said... I plan to have a CARBD LTX built for the car and installed as well.

(I know I know...why a carb? Simply because I wan a keep this project simple... no opti... no computer contolled... and with all the wiring and mess that is under the hood... a harness modification would be ugly as it is already very very "modified."

The plan is a H(not positive about heads/C/I set up and the ability to take a 200 or 260 hit...

Once that is squared away... some odds and end maint...

-alot of play in the steering wheel...needs a new rag joint and shaft I believe.

    -small cage

    -upgrade half shafts

-prob will need to upgrade ds

-needs bushings and maybe a torque tube mount (thump under the car when launching)

-look into going to another member ( @arod ) here for some body work to the fiberglass pained quarters.

In the end... I love the gs look...amd I think this could be a fun SIMPLE project.

Sooooo stay tuned. (If u want).

BTW...the car is still listed on CL for sale. So if someone has the 4k or more before the work begins...I will sell it

    Build Cost:

    $1,000.00 donor 1995 Camaro

    $200.00 carb intake

$0. Pick up delivery of donor car

Nice I like the carb idea... ive always been a huge fan of pro systems carbs. .. A TON of drag racers use them but they can be set up for street use as well.. they make consistently more power then the stuff from Summit jegs etc because they are custom tailored to your application.

Larry, please don't beat me with a hose or anything, but seriously, if you're motor swapping, I think an LS in a C4 is a pretty slick combo.

Sure... its pretty common. You see it alot on the 84s when people get tired of dealing with the cross fire...

Lol, I'm non-discriminatory. Actually I just think it would be a potent combo.
