Default American Torque Thrust II/Mickey Thompsons

IMG_1682.JPGIMG_1683.JPGI'm so happy with the way this wheel/tire combo came out I just had to show it off.
I studied long and hard to decide on a wheel upgrade because I wanted a certain look.
Then I did a bunch of measuring. (Measure four times then buy).
Then I shopped what would fit by cost and looks(in my eyes).
There are a ton of great looking wheels out there, some over priced for the construction.

    Wheel/tire details:
Front and rear wheel size is nearly identical to the stock wheel package. 17x9.5 with 7" back spacing. Stock rim is 9" wide so the American's are just a 1/4" wider inside and outside.
Front tires are Mickey Thompson Street Comp 275/40-17 same as stock tire size, they are 26" tall.
Rear tires are Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S drag radials 305/45-17, they are 28" tall.
The rear fender wells have to be clearanced in one spot at the inside forward lower area. A few good hits with a BFH does the job.
I'm gonna take the wheels back off soon to paint the area that I hit with the hammer. I'll try to remember to get a photo and post it.
Hope this helps other people trying to determine what will fit on their car.
