Default 24x Conversion Gurus! Maf and FI questions

Trying to order the new LT1 harness for the 24x conversion. I'm ordering from PSI and I missed the telephone cutoff... and there's a screen in the ordering process which asks which MAF, giving several choices:

    -3 pin Camaro/Firebird
    -5 pin Corvette/Truck
    -5 Pin LS3 and 5 pin LY6.

Which one? Is one better than the other using the 411 LS PCM?

    .

    .

Also, there's a drop down for Fuel Injectors choices:

    - EV1 LS1/LS6
    - EV6 LS2/LS3

    Which is right/best and why?

FWIW: I'm running green top 42 lb injectors.

The 5 pin mafs integrate the IAT into the man sensor.

I wish I knew what that meant... but I don't.

    Isn't our stock MAF a 3 pin?

Is the 5 pin something that I need in the 24x conversion? Is it something that would make the system more efficient? I have no problem buying one, I just don't know which one to order.

The idea of getting this is to increase the efficiency of the system, make it easier to tune and so on. So, if the LS MAF does that, then I'm in. If it doesn't help, then I'll stay with the one I have. Let me ask ya this... are the LS MAFs larger? My TB is 58mm... and I always felt that the smaller MAF had to choke the airflow down.

Also... what about the Fuel Injectors?

I'm running the green top 42 lb injectors. Does anyone know if they are EV1 or EV6? Obviously, they need to fit into the rails and intake and operate well within the pressure range of the fuel system; it's the obligatory 155lb/hr Granitelli.

On our LT1's we have a 3 wire MAF with a 2 wire IAT(intake ait temp), the IAT is the sensor in the intake elbow, the LS1 MAF has the IAT built into it thats why it has 5 wires. I have read on another forum that the LS series MAF is larger than the LT1, but I have never measured them to verify. as for the injectors, do a google search, one style has the smaller connector like the LS series, the other has the larger connector like our LT1's. just order the harness with the connectors for the injectors you have.

Thank you fellas. I appreciate it. I did just that last night... and discovered that we are using the EV1 Injectors. I went ahead and ordered the harness with the 5 wire config, because it takes temps off the engine... and there can't be a downside to measuring air temperatures upstream of the intake. It must be important to get as accurate a reading as possible, and taking the reading upstream of the intake isn't going to hurt that. So I'll find a Vette MAF in the classifieds and that will solve that.

    Thank you again.
