    Yea in that case just go to autozone and get part number 12620. It's a crank that's been turned and comes with rod and main bearings. Have the rods checked to see if they need reconditioned. Then just hone and re ring. Run a 1074 head gasket.

    Dude thats awesome I looked it up on the website... I'll send the rods and block in when i finish getting the engine out! .... you saved me some money on that deal lol

    another question... anyone have a line on a gasket set that doesn't have the shitty 9966 felpro head gasket or am I going to be stuck piecing a kit together

    I finally got around to looking up what bearings they use in there rebuilt crankshaft kits... There website lists Cleavite, Federal Mogal, Sealed Power, and King Bearings. Just for future reference. I think I'll pick one up this weekend if I have time.

    Sorry just seen this. I'll have to look at mine and see what it came with. It's still in the box. To my knowledge there is no gasket set (in a reasonable price range) that doesn't use a junk head gasket. I usually just piece a kit together with the 1074 gasket

    Thanks @firebird_1995 I got one ordered yesterday, should be waiting for me at the parts store right now actually. now for rings and gaskets...
