4.10 anyone?
Hello, I'm a new member and I'm doing a swap with one of your lt1's. I was wondering if any of you have a cai, long tube headers, 4.10 gears and a pcm tune. What type of quarter mile times are you getting?

I'm sorry, I didn't know there was an stick option with your cars. It's the 4l60e Street tires I guess I won't be running slicks.

U didnt know that lt1s could come with the 6spd (stick) option?
Also, why are u saying u wont run slicks? Because of the 10 bolt? (prob a good idea).
Finally...what are u swapping the lt1 into? Is it tuned at all (lts and cai dont necesaarily NEED a tune) for better "inhaling" and "exhaling," but it will help.

Ok... Just checked... U are doin the 79 camaro swap. Idk what they weigh
.. But a 4th gen with 4.10s...cai...ltS and exhaust with tune...should easily be a mid 13 sec car... Now elevation... Susp (idk how ur leaf spring susp will differ from a 4th gens susp when running thequarter mile will vary.)

Thanks popo, I asked in the b body forum because that's what engine/tranny combo I had. That's why I was confused about the stick question.i know quite a bit about fbodies but thought a b-body with similar body weight and mods would be a better comparison.

It has traction bars and the rear ties are a little oversize so I hope that helps with tire spin. 13's would be nice.
