Default Which Class to Race in?

Musclepalooza is coming up May 25th. It's a street legal American muscle cars only event. They group the class' by one second intervals. I'm trying to decide if I want to run high 10's in the 10 second class or low to borderline 11's in the 11 second class. Help me weigh out the pro's and con's.

What are you more consistent running?
    Correlation does not imply causation.

Is it the closest average or closest to the index of 10 that wins?

I can force the car to go either way and still be consistent.

It's typical bracket racing. If I run 10's I have to run with all the people in the 10 second class and vise versa. If I run 10's then I will be the guy getting chased, if I run 11's I'm the guy chasing.

run the slower class and set the car up to have a huge top end charge...will make it harder to sandbag/judge your closing speed..11.20 @ 140 is harder to beat than 11.20 @ 120

That is one thing I have not thought of yet. See it pays to ask, thanks.
