30# is just the weight of the nitrous in the bottles. Two empty bottles at 17.75# each adds another 35.5#. Plus the weight of the bracket/heaters. Gotta be at least 75# with both bottles full.

Well it's been a little while since I posted I've been rather busy with the car recently... finally got axle shafts that showed up from Dutchman axles. So the rear is now in the car. Next is to measure and find out how I need to modify the drive shaft.

I'm not really worried about it if anything happens that would cause the bottles to tear free from the sheet metal I've probably got more concerned than bottles flying around.

The call was having trouble and some issues running with the Holley 650 double Pumper that the car had in it and I was advised by Holley I really needed a 750 with the camshaft specs and RPM goals so I bought this beautiful gem

Quick Fuels BRAWLER drag racing 750 cfm with mechanical secondaries.

While I was getting the pictures of the carburetor on the motor I noticed the carb was rocking back and forth. And upon further inspection I noticed that a helicoil I had installed worked its way out after the back corner of the intake manifold had chipped .... this potentially could have caused a vacuum leak because the previous carburetor may have not been sitting all the way down. So I'm going to get this repaired that way I can install the new carburetor and nitrous plate.

Well today I finished tightening everything up and put oil inside the differential and also installed my drag bag and got The Fill hose mounted before setting the car down back on the ground. Tomorrow I'm going to take some measurements for the drive shaft to see if that has to be adjusted.

All right tonight is the big night I'm headed to the racetrack to see if all this time and effort was worth a damn.

Well there is more in it I think I was emptying the float bowls on the big end. Need a wideband to see. But get there is more in it ... maybe get fueling lined out and get the shift points dialed in better maybe .2 or .3 faster.
