Well ... did the first oil change since it's been on the road at a hundred miles it was hard to tell how it looked because I assembled the motor with moly grease so it made the oil grey ish but she seems to be doing okay. Figure it out I'm getting 6 miles per gallon currently. And I think it's because the car doesn't go into 3rd gear until 83 miles an hour according to my GPS. Needless to say it needs tuned better than what I can do.
Does anybody know if Ed Wright still does carburetor stuff?

And today in the mail one of the things I've been wanting for years finally showed up ... only had to wait about four and a half months to get it.

Well once the axle shafts get in I'll get the Ford 8.8 hybrid under the car ... I'm sure the 4.10s will feel so much better than these 2.73s with 28" tires and a th400.

Well I decided to get rid of the flimsy nitrous bottle brackets and the crossbar I mounted between the rear seat belt brackets and now I have a nice Billet aluminum dual bottle bracket with a heater panel under each bottle.
Yes that is 2 15 lb nitrous bottles giving me 30 lb of nitrous on tap. Why might you ask because I like to party.

Well I did a much better job than the sheet metal screws that were in the back holding in the bottle bracket.
Drilled holes so that 5/16 nuts would fall in then welede large washers to the nuts and the washers to the body ... making the nuts recessed.
Now I can be confident that when I have my dual 15lbs bottles in the firebird they are not going any where

Sheet metal even with inserts is not something I would trust to hold 30# behind my head.
