Very limited options on 50 state legal cats. Basically, you can choose a universal with the right diameter or one with the whole y-pipe assembly. Keep in mind these won't always be a direct replacement depending on the headers you have (if any).

EDIT: I was using the Magnaflow 36009

My car had the Edelbrock TES headers when I bought it. Not sure how much better they are since I didn't have a baseline to compare it to. Never messed with them since I will be switching to longtubes as soon as I am out of California. If I ever did changed them, while still keeping things CA legal, I'd probably go with the Pace Setter 72C1335. As it is, they don't run much more than just the y-pipe/cat assembly on its own.

Thanks again for the recommendations... I'll have to start getting a shipping list together, and get registered... I'll report back when I make some progress...

Honestly, with the Hypertech tune pulled it will prob pass. It's not a LT1 but my friends 305tbi car has TES headers, no cats and blows 150ppm at idle and a 1ppm high idle. The LT1 has alil better injection system than a old tbi setup.

Hello again guys... Still haven't gotten around to getting new cats...

Im currently running a K&N CAI, I was wondering if an SLP CAI would be an all around better choice over K&N....

Hypertech programmer = poop. I was stupid and new to the LT1 game years and years ago. I bought one because it was the same price as having a dealership change my computer to compensate for my new gears and I thought I could improve my performance...and... as many will tell you, it made my performance worse. I raised my shift points and it actually shifted lower than before. The gear change input worked, but everything else made my car slower. NEVER EVER BUY THEIR PRODUCT!
