I know E85 will be hard to get around OC, but I am not super competitive down there being a M6 car. If I was going E85, I'd pulley the car down to 10-12psi so I could run 93 w/o meth for scooting around town @ low-mid 600's whp. If I fill up with E, the content sensor will turn up the fuel and spark on the fly for another 50-70hp I'm guessing. I think it will probably be in line with a 93/meth @15-16psi tune hp wise. So basically...
93 w/meth
pros: always turned up, only need to buy another 255 and a snow kit
cons: have to remember to refill tank, motor pops if system fails
E85
pros: brainless, never have to lift the hood, less points of failure
cons: have to go out of my way to get fuel for max hp, more expensive fuel system (2x 340's, lines, filter) but might even out cost wise with snow kitLast edited by Catmaigne; 11-13-2018 at 02:45 PM.

Big order from Racetronix coming in soon. Deka 80's, twin 340's, bunch of other crap.
Deal on the D1sc fell through because the details were inconsistent and the seller was unreasonable on price. If anyone knows a guy who knows a guy selling a T-trim/D1 blower or larger for a decent price, send them my way.

Lil late but the motor wouldn't pop if you don't rely on meth up top for fueling.
If you are using it strictly for IAT control, tune accordingly and no problems, no?
Also, D1 is meh, go F1xCorrelation does not imply causation.

I was under the impression that meth or a water/meth mix would've been mandatory for running 14-16 psi on 93 @ 9.5:1. Seems like a lot of guys on pump gas are using it as an aux fuel injector to fatten the AFR and boost the octane rating, not just drop IAT. I guess I could've just used it for IAT control by running a diluted mix or straight water, but I'd be missing out. I opted for E85 because the sensor made it brainless and the costs seemed to even out. I also won't have to spin the blower as much.
The D1 or T seem to be the minimum cfm blowers I'd need to get into 7xx range. I wouldn't be opposed to a F1 or Ysi, but I don't think I'd be able to take advantage of them with my Mahle pistons/pins. There is a F1r for sale on LS1tech for $1.5k, brackets are only ~$4-500.96Z M6, ERE-383 #60, AFR 210s, LE cam, 9", Procharger D1, ???whp

Stuff showed up. Twin 340e assembly, 80's, 7psi hobbs switch, content sensor, and some connectors. Going to drop the tank and make a list of all the bits and pieces I'll need. Hoping to do the fuel system the week of xmas while I tear open the diff.1201181328a.jpeg
